The Havelock
The Havelock is a courtyard space which is accessed between two typical West End tenement blocks. Hidden behind these tenement blocks lies a private south-facing courtyard development which is distinctive and unlike anything else in the West End. Designed by the Award Winning NORD Architects, this unique development consists of ten 3 bedroom houses offering accommodation on 3 levels with shared and private outdoor spaces. A further 11th unit is a townhouse offering accomodation over 4 levels with its own private high level outdoor space.

The development will be strikingly modern in construction and in the choice of materials and detailing, but fragments of the traditional boundary walls will be retained in the common courtyard spaces. This balance of old and new will create a rich colour palette which compliments the surrounding red sandstone tenements.

The new walls of the courtyard will be planted and offer offer common seating areas for residents. It is unusal to find accommodation of this size in the West End which offers homes for a broad mix of potential owners. The large glazed openings to the principal rooms, large storage areas, top lit kitchen spaces and secure parking, makes for the perfect small community.

Specification of Bespoke Architectural Finishes

The test of true quality is in the detail. Each element of these homes has been meticulously considered and built to the highest specification.

The palette has been chosen to strike a balance between natural materials and contemporary finishes. From concept to completion the project has been architecturally led.

Space to Grow

The space within The Havelock has been designed to create a sense of community, safety and an ideal living area. The entire building and the surrounding spaces are bathed in natural light with the windows and skylights positioned in such a way as to make the very most of this.

With the addition of the security gates at the entrance, the development has an added feeling of security, as only residents and their guests will be able to gain access. this also emphasises a feeling of privacy for all who want to enjoy their outer spaces for entertaining or simply enjoying a coffee with Sunday papers on their terrace.

The interiors in the Mews houses have been designed to accommodate any type of resident, but naturally a resident who insists on the highest standards. The materials used and the layout of each unit makes the very best use of every space.

A sun room in the city

Numbers 4 - 10, The Havelock have glazed sun rooms to the rear. These sunlit spaces give occupiers the opportunity to enjoy an 'outdoor space', flooded with natural daylight, all year round.
