THE HAVELOCK GLASGOW
The Havelock is a courtyard space which is accessed between two typical West End tenement blocks. Hidden behind these tenement blocks lies a private south-facing courtyard development which is distinctive and unlike anything else in the West End. Designed by the Award Winning NORD Architects, this unique development consists of ten 3 bedroom houses offering accommodation on 3 levels with shared and private outdoor spaces. The development will be strikingly modern in construction and in the choice of materials and detailing, but fragments of the traditional boundary walls will be retained in the common courtyard spaces. This balance of old and new will create a rich colour palette which compliments the surrounding red sandstone tenements.
